what is the difference between SSW and TITP?
TITP is a training program where you gain technical skills in Japan as an intern. SSW is a work visa category that allows skilled workers to work in Japan after passing language and skills test.
Do I need to know Japanese?
Yes, Both programs require basic Japanese proficiency ( N4 or above for TITP, and N4-N3 for SSW). Don’t worry, We offer full language training.
How long does the process take?
It depends on your preparation, but generally 6-12 months from enrolments to departure.
Can I switch from TITP to SSW later?
Yes! After completing your TITP program, you may be eligible to switch to the SSW category, depending on your performance and test results.
About the SSW program

What is SSW programme
The Specified Skilled Worker (SSW) program is a Japanese government initiative that allows foreign nationals with designated skills to work in Japan, aiming to address labor shortages in sectors like caregiving, construction, agriculture, and manufacturing.

What should I do so I can work
In order to work under a Specified Skilled Worker (i) status of residence, you need to pass a Japanese language test and a skills proficiency test, get a job offer from Japanese company, apply for a visa with the COE, and then you can legally work for up to five years.

Getting company support
Foreign nationals working under a Specified Skilled Worker (i) status of residence can receive various forms of support from their company for living and working in Japan. (If the company cannot provide support, a registered support organization can provide it at the company’s request.
